LT I Central NH's History/Social Studies Day will meet at the NH Political Library's facilities at the Pierce Manse in Concord NH on Tuesday, December 9, 2008 from 8am-3:15pm.

Directions are below and can be found by visiting the library's website at http://www.piercemanse.org/

Also, attached please find a copy of the day's agenda.

We start our day at 8am sharp!

Please wear warm clothing and cofortable shoes as we will be briefly touring the graveyard near the Manse as well.

In addition, we will be relocating to the Red River Theatres (www.redrivertheatre.org) in downtown Concord for a private viewing of an Indie film with a discussion afterwards with the ED of the theatre about films as a vehicle for raising awareness about social justice and the overall mission of the Red River Theatres as an educational and cultural resource.

Directions to the Pierce Manse are below. We will then drive and repark in the garage attached to the Red River Theatre after lunch.

We look forward to seeing you all on Tuesday!

DIRECTIONS TO PIERCE MANSE
From Interstate 93, take exit 15W onto I-393 West towards downtown Concord. Go through a set of blinking yellow lights to the intersection of I-393 West and North Main Street, where there is a traffic light. Take a hard right on to North Main Street. At the end of North Main Street, you will see the Pierce Manse (a white Greek Revival house). Go around the concrete median and look for the driveway entrance on your right.
If you miss the hard right on to North Main Street, and instead veer right on to Route 3, continue straight through the next traffic light. At the second traffic light, take a right on to Horseshoe Pond Lane. The driveway to the Manse is on the left, just past the yellow house. If you are in front of the Manse (white Greek Revival house), you have gone
